Corrections & right of reply

Anyone: the creator, someone acting for them, or a viewer. Use the corrections form; every request gets a ticket number.

Within 24 hours we acknowledge your request. If it concerns a specific tip and is plausible, we mark that tip “under review”: it stays visible with that label but is removed from every number until we decide.

Within 15 days we check the original source and reply with what we did: corrected, removed, kept with an explanation, or published your response.

If we got it wrong, we fix it and recompute the numbers. Corrections are noted on the tip so readers can see what changed.

Creators can send a written response at any time. We publish it on their page as received, with the date, without edits other than removing personal data of third parties or unlawful content.

We remove a tip if the source shows it was recorded wrongly, if it wasn't actually public, or if a court or authority orders it. We don't remove accurate records of public statements only because they are unflattering; in that case we publish your response next to them.
